The goal of the training session is to assist and promote contractors in learning how to apply the Bramal product so as to improve the competitiveness and performance of the roofer.
Cost: The cost of roofing with VIREO™ is less than 80% of the competition. As VIREO™'s speed of application is approximately 1 sq.ft / sec. the amount of material laid down is significantly greater than any roofing technology presently available. The crew required for installation is one “hose man” and a “spotter” so the associated personnel costs are drastically reduced and the turnover minimal. Typical profit margins can vary depending on the job, as does the cost of all the material. All application equipment is included in the price per square foot.
Application: Roofing with VIREO™ is simplicity at its utmost. VIREO™ is a spray applied roofing membrane that is fully adhered point by point to the substrate. The mechanized process allows for a minimal work force and an increase in square footage covered per person. Since all the installation equipment is provided by Bramal at no cost, the roofer benefits from not having to purchase or rent any heavy equipment. Additionally all the equipment is on the ground so no time or cost is involved in bringing the materials to the roof. Since the membrane is continuous, no time is spent on seams or joints, this also improves the waterproofing ability of the membrane.
Inventory: Bramal supplies all application equipment and material. One of the concepts of Bramal is that no application equipment can be purchased, therefore no parts, maintenance or storage space is required to use the Bramal product. All Bramal application equipment comes fully loaded with the material it needs and is ready to start the job, no stocking of inventory is required by the roofer as Bramal charges the roofer per pound of material consumed.
Safety / Insurance: Since VIREO™ is cold applied, a significant reduction in work related accidents can be expected, accidents related to fire and burn injuries are eliminated. As the products are pumped from ground level a great deal of back related injuries can be reduced. Since our product emits no V.O.C’s (volatile organic components) injuries related to inhalation of hazardous fumes are non-existent. It has been shown by various studies that the inhalation of organic fumes can cause health issues ranging from respiratory ailments to cancer. It has also been noted in recent years that public complaints due to the foul odor associated to roofing is on the rise, there is no such issue with VIREO™.
Environment: In last few years the demand for environmentally friendly products has increased dramatically. Bramal’s VIREO™ is just that, since it is composed of 50% recycled tire polymer. Additionally the product emits no V.O.C’s, comparatively to traditional tar & gravel roofs which loose 25% of its mass as it ages. Bramal’s VIREO™ satisfies this particular market demand and more.
