Engineers
As an Engineer your job is to plan, conceive, repair and manage a wide range of construction projects. Others may specialize in foundation analysis, building inspection, or site Forman but all evaluate and recommend a series of construction materials which are entirely dependant on the application. We would like to introduce you to Bramal’s VIREO™ as a continuous spray applied membrane.
On top of having superior mechanical properties (see technical data sheet), VIREO™ is environmentally friendly as it intergrates 50% tire polymer to it’s formulation. We encourage you to visit our section for roofing contractors and building owners, the only thing missing is your ingenuity. We would like to invite you to contact us so we can send you a VIREO™ information package and material safety data sheets or follow the links above to view them on our website.
Cost: The cost of roofing with VIREO™ is less than 80% of the competition. As VIREO™ speed of application is approximately 1 sq.ft / sec. the amount of material laid down is significantly greater than any roofing technology presently available, this allows for significant savings which can give you the competitive edge in the bidding process.
Application: The Bramal membrane is cold applied. Many other products require open flame and heat for installation, which has been responsible for many fires and work related injuries. Contractors are eager to work with the Bramal product due to its ease of application, speed, and safety. The Bramal system is an optimum of advanced materials and automated installation equipment.
Performance: Bramal’s VIREO™ is a spray applied seamless membrane which offers a multitude of advantages (for the complete list of advantages please see the technical data sheet). Water resistance is greatly enhanced as the product forms a tight seal around obstructions and rooftop equipment. Thermal management is an important factor in modern building design and VIREO™ can help meet these objectives. Since VIREO™ has a standard white – grey reflective finish (different color finishes available), it helps diminish the heat loading effect, as well as U.V degradation. The Bramal membrane is a continuously adhered material and is not affected by windlift issues. Another interesting point is that VIREO™ once applied weights 1.5 lbs / sq.ft which can greatly increase the span between joists thereby reducing the overall cost of steel or wooden structures associated with OEM construction.
Environment: The product is composed of 50% recycled tire polymer, consequently, it is eligible to gain points for Leed® certified buildings. Innovative products based on material reuse is the essence of environmental stewardship. During the installation process, traditional roofing products tend to emit high levels of organic vapor (V.O.C.), contributing to greenhouse gas accumulation and severe health risks to contractors. VIREO™ from Bramal contains no V.O.C’s.
